Malda Town is a railway station, serves Malda city in Malda district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is the rail head for a visit to Gauḍa and Pandua. Malda Town railway station is amongst the top hundred booking stations of Indian Railway. One of the reason for it being a busy station is that every train that passes through the station stops here since it is the meeting point of two railway zone (The Eastern Railway and the Northeast Frontier Railway). To the north of the station starts the Northeast Frontier Railway and to the south starts the Eastern Railway.

It was opened in 1971.
